Former Nashville Predator Alexander Radulov Hits His KHL Coach in Must-See Clip

Former Nashville Predator (although the NHL club still owns his rights) Alexander Radulov is making waves again.

This time, it’s not exactly for the better.

For whatever reason, likely because of a bad shift or missed opportunity, Radulov of the KHL‘s Salavat Yulayev absolutely lost his mind on the bench.

Radulov, sitting on the end of the bench near goaltending coach Ilari Näckel, turned around, grabbed a stick and rammed it right into the head of Näckel.

From the looks of it, the heel of the blade caught him pretty good in the right cheek, but to my surprise, Näckel didn’t even flinch.

Obviously, there’s no place for this in hockey. Had this happened in the NHL, the media coverage would be out of this world.

If he’s hoping to return to the NHL in the near future, this won’t help Radulov’s chances one bit. It’s not like he made a bone-headed play or got into a shouting match with a coach. He went absolutely mental on his team’s goalie coach.

Needless to say, the kid needs to get his head on straight.

In case Nashville does decide to bring him back, they may want to throw in some bonus anger management sessions before he puts Barry Trotz out of commission.
