New Jersey Devils Sign Zach Parise to 1-Year Deal, Working on Multi-Year Deal
The New Jersey Devils have signed forward Zach Parise to a one year contract worth about $6 million, but the two sides are still working on completing a multi-year deal, according to TheFourthPeriod.com.
Parise is one of the best young forwards in the NHL, and is also one of the finest American born players.
With the one year contract completed, the two sides avoided arbitration.
In 420 career games with the Devils, Parise has scored 163 goals and dished out 178 assists.
To help build another era of success in New Jersey, the Devils have to sign Parise to anchor their offense for years to come.
