NHL: New York Rangers Invite Ruslan Fedotenko to Training Camp

According to Larry Brooks, the Rangers have indeed invited veteran winger Ruslan Fedotenko (31) to training camp, which starts in ten days.

Fedotenko has received the offer, but has not excepted it just yet.

If he excepts the try-out offer he will be another option on left wing for John Tortorella, who coached Fedotenko while both were in Tampa Bay.

Last season, Fedotenko recorded eleven goals and thrity points for the Pittsburgh Penguins, and could be an ideal pick-up for the Rangers if he happens to sign with them.

More to come soon…
