What a Slapshot: Chris Hanson Re-Signs With Toronto Maple Leafs

Various sources are reporting that promising forward Chris Hanson has re-signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs. It is believed he has signed a two-way contract.

The two-way forward scored two goals and seven points in 31 games with the Maple Leafs last season. He also scored 12 goals and 31 points in 38 games in the AHL last season.

Expect Hanson to impress a lot this season as he will have a much better chance of making the team full-time. A true two-way forward, many Leafs fan hope Hanson to become a Jordan Staal type of player.
